Jason focuses his practice on complex business litigation and real estate disputes, representing clients in sophisticated contract, corporate governance, and commercial property matters. He works with corporations, partnerships, LLCs, developers, property owners, landlords, lenders, and other business stakeholders in high-stakes civil litigation.
In his business litigation practice, Jason represents clients in disputes involving shareholder and member rights, fiduciary duties of officers and directors, partnership conflicts, restrictive covenants (including non-compete and confidentiality agreements), unfair competition and trade secret claims, commercial debt collection, consumer protection matters, securities fraud, racketeering claims, and a wide range of contract and business tort disputes. He approaches each matter strategically, focusing on practical, business-oriented solutions while aggressively advocating for his clients’ interests.
In his real estate litigation practice, Jason represents developers, owners, landlords, brokers, contractors, design professionals, and lenders in disputes involving construction claims, commercial landlord-tenant matters, commercial foreclosures, enforcement of purchase-sale agreements, broker commission disputes, title and equitable lien issues, mortgage fraud, insurance claims, and compliance with architectural and structural requirements under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). He handles complex real estate-related contract and tort matters with a detailed understanding of both the legal and business implications involved.
Jason also has experience representing clients in related civil litigation matters, including labor and employment disputes (such as discrimination, wrongful termination, and wage and hour claims), trust and estate litigation (including trustee duties, fraud, and undue influence claims), and professional liability disputes involving attorneys, accountants, real estate brokers and agents, insurance professionals, architects, engineers, hospitals, and physicians.
Jason is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). The CFE credential is conferred by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), the world’s largest anti-fraud organization and provider of anti-fraud training and education. The mission of the ACFE is to reduce the incidence of fraud and white-collar crime and to assist ACFE membership in fraud detection and deterrence.

In 2025, Jason was recognized by Super Lawyers as a top-rated attorney in the practice area of business litigation. Prior to such recognition, in 2012 and from 2019 through 2022, Jason was recognized by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star in the practice area of business litigation. Jason has achieved an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating for legal ability and professional ethics.
Personal
Jason was born in Abington, Pennsylvania in 1982. He received a merit-based Founders Scholarship to attend Tulane University, graduating cum laude in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Legal Studies in Business. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law in 2007, graduating cum laude. While in law school, Jason was selected as a member of the Charles C. Papy, Jr. Moot Court Board and later served as a Vice President of the Board, administering the 2006 Negotiation Competition. He won the Fall 2005 Advanced Moot Court Competition and was a finalist in the 2006 American Bar Association Regional Negotiation Competition.
